In the battle between woman and ceramic tile floor with 1/2" plywood underlayment held together with screws, nails, caulk, grout, and various other adhesives, woman has prevailed. I did have considerable help from a hammer, wrecking bar, and a great little battery-powered circular saw that Heather loaned me. She has all the tools. Yes, I wore leather work gloves and safety goggles. The first day I wore flip-flops but then switched to boots. Because I'm smarter than I may appear at times. I need to sweep. And sleep. And a shower. And a beer. But not all at the same time.
