Saturday AM

You know that thing about friends? No matter how much time passes since you last saw them you don't miss a beat, it's like you've never been apart? Well, it is true. I shared a cup of coffee and a couple of hours with Sara this morning. Like many people who are dear to me, she lives much too far away and too much time gets away in between the times we are together. Saturday morning always carries a magical air for me, I think it started way back when I was a child. Memories of bowls of cereal consumed on the living room floor in front of the tv blaring Mighty Mouse and Merrie Melodies. Before there were 24/7 cartoons with entire cable channels devoted to them.
