- I was born in Colorado to a full-blooded Norwegian/American mother from North Dakota and a Cajun/Scottish father from Mississippi. Raised and educated in four states, eight public schools, and one liberal arts Lutheran college, I somehow ended up in South Dakota and was married to a mostly Dutch guy for twenty years. I then returned to Colorado for a seven year experiment living at high altitudes. I now call the Pacific Northwest home where I try to blend in with the natives driving my Subaru Outback and sporting hiking boots. I have two sons whom I adore beyond reason. The younger one lives with me and spends an inordinate amount of time on his computer creating video games and composing music. The elder one lives nearby with his amazing wife and their fluffy pup Gimli. I currently find myself without the companionship of a feline which feels odd to me. No one gives a better full body massage. No one. I make the meanest coffee. Bartending? I only serve red wine and single malt scotch. Unfortunately, I am employed (?) full time taking care of my parents. No I'm not getting paid for it, but they could not live the way they want without my help, so I do it.
Whenever you're available come on out...I'll keep the position open just for you! And bless your heart for being so generous and loving with your parents.
