Beer!

The wine tipplers had their day back in February. Today is National Beer Day! And while I could find no historical significance for the wine drinking celebration being placed on the eighteenth day of the second month, today's date marks a grand day in America's history. We can thank President Franklin D Roosevelt for signing the Cullen-Harrison Act in March of 1933 which allowed for the production, sale, and consumption of 3.2 beer beginning one month later. Paving the way for the end of Prohibition. Which I am grateful for. It's not quite time to mow the lawn yet, but I might just observe the grand post lawn mowing tradition of enjoying a beer out on the deck this afternoon. Just for practice.
