This is a phenomenon I've noticed with my own body as well. The hair on the knuckle of my big toe grows faster and darker than that on my left. So weird. Freaks me out.
Must be a highly enriched blood supply going to that toe. Because physiologically it's more valuable. For some yet to be determined reason.
This should end my right/left confusion!
