Sunshine. Forty-nine degrees. Possibly rain later. I am fine with this holiday weather.

Bellona of Avalon: Pacific Northwest, United States; I was born in Colorado to a full-blooded Norwegian/American mother from North Dakota and a Cajun/Scottish father from Mississippi. Raised and educated in four states, eight public schools, and one liberal arts Lutheran college, I somehow ended up in South Dakota and was married to a mostly Dutch guy for twenty years. I then returned to Colorado for a seven year experiment living at high altitudes. I now call the Pacific Northwest home where I try to blend in with the natives driving my Subaru Outback and sporting hiking boots. Yes, since you asked, I am a cat lady. Freya and Luna are their names and I happily serve them. I have two sons whom I adore beyond reason. The younger one lives with me and spends an inordinate amount of time on his computer creating video games and composing music. The elder one lives nearby with his amazing wife and their fluffy pup Gimli. Technically I'm a grownup but I seldom behave like one. © 2007-2026 CJ MacBroome
