Let's Be Direct

Just before 10 this morning I received a text message from piton@rotpaygol.ga. As if that wasn't unrecognizable enough, this was the message:

(final St3p)' B2go.li/-s9MZi'BeONroad

Then, a little over an hour later my phone rang. It was a local number so I answered. A tremulous sounding elderly feminine voice asked if I was Anya. I said, no, you have the wrong number. She apologized. When the Mercury retrograde ends around 4:30 this afternoon I expect all of this will make sense.

  1. I just got one too. Deleted it, but the contents were much of the same. No phone call yet, received the text at 2:05 PM EST. I'm in NJ, by the way.

  3. Somehow I'm relieved that others get this stuff, too. Being "special" isn't always what you might expect. :-)

  5. Just received one from saju@rotpaygol.ga .ga is a domain for Gabon. It reads, "Sav3 The FUture" with a link LeL.lu/q and farbutn3ar.

Don't they have goats to tend to or something?

  6. I say, let's send them some dancing, pajama-wearing goats to keep them from proliferating spam!

  7. It's always the same dilemma...what do you get for a swinging Gabonese spamming goat herder who has everything?

  11. Technically, I don't think I gave my number out either...but there was this out of the way little pub in Ogooué-Ivindo. And I thought that what happens in Ogooué-Ivindo, stays in Ogooué-Ivindo.

  12. Life can deal some harsh lessons. It's all fun and games til a voodoo queen walks into an out of the way little pub in Ogooué-Ivindo.

  18. My mom received the following text yesterday, Thursday June 11, 2015 at 3:42 pm.:

    (Sav3 The FUture)
    willingnessSCS
    'LeL.lu/q'

I googled it, like everyone else...what is interesting is that one result referenced the Bible...https://books.google.com/books?id=Pd5UAAAAcAAJ&pg=PA764&lpg=PA764&dq=what+is+LeL.lu/q&source=bl&ots=JCY4jXIU0A&sig=SWI2UVrDUcERRkWRyqAL8DG_WTs&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CB0Q6AEwADgKahUKEwjbuZawwInGAhUEfJIKHTluAE8#v=onepage&q=what%20is%20LeL.lu%2Fq&f=false

I don't know what to make of it!

  19. Had to join the Par-tay, being an ex-goat herding Gabonese, from Ogooué-Ivindo with voodoo tendencies. Mine read "Karissa@rotpaygol.ga (Yr Evolution) FascinatingSt3p 'Lel.lu/q' " hmmmm, the only thing I can think is Youtube naybe? Since I lied about being Gabonese and all. But hey, got directed to this cool place, so all is not lost. PS PacNW (very N)

  23. Curse you, Thomas J. Kallenbach!

As long as it's fess-up time, I was the voodoo gypsy queen at that little pub in Ogooué-Ivindo! Bwahahahahaha!

Generally people change their phone number after such an escapade. ;-)

It was fun, we should do it again sometime. But in a cleaner bar with better food. And indoor plumbing.
