* Dwarf bread, which is mythical in nature, but just the idea of a food that is forged rather than grown or baked has potential for nightmare fodder

Add polyester quilt batting to the list. Some inadvertently ended up in my pile after the wind shredded a quilt covering the tomatoes. (For those unaware, covering tomatoes at night extends the growing season a good two weeks.) I'm still digging pieces of white fluff out of the garden.
ReplyDeleteBirds enjoy that stuff for nesting material! And I saw a squirrel digging some out of a lounge chair pad next door. Not sure what he was going to do with it but watching him was very entertaining.
