If You Put it Out to the Curb, They Will Come

And there it goes. After a mere fifteen hours on the curb, my circa 1981 plaid sofa is gone.

ByeBye!

  1. Best thing about Brookings right there. Love how people say "boulevard"--took me ages to figure out what the hell they were talking about.

  2. Boulevard! Yes! One of my favorite beers! Also a fancy name for that strip of green between the sidewalk and the street. The city owns it but you have to maintain it!

  3. Good place to pass out when you've had too much fun.

  4. Yay. I know you're glad it's gone. I put my old furniture on the curb too. I stick a sign that reads FREE on it and somebody usually grabs it within a day or two.

I'm also not beneath taking wooden furniture that others put out and refurbishing it. Save for what's upholstered, every piece of furniture I own is used. My favorite piece is a little table that I sanded down and painted green on top of gold and then beat the hell out of it to give it that antique look. When I finally get a digital camera, I'll post a picture of it.

I hope you're having a terrific weekend. Happy Easter. :)
