Even though there isn't a great deal of heat in the kitchen it has proven to be too much for Mr. Melonhead.

- I was born in Colorado to a full-blooded Norwegian/American mother from North Dakota and a Cajun/Scottish father from Mississippi. Raised and educated in four states, eight public schools, and one liberal arts Lutheran college, I somehow ended up in South Dakota and was married to a mostly Dutch guy for twenty years. I then returned to Colorado for a seven year experiment living at high altitudes. I now call the Pacific Northwest home where I try to blend in with the natives driving my Subaru Outback and sporting hiking boots. I have two sons whom I adore beyond reason. The younger one lives with me and spends an inordinate amount of time on his computer creating video games and composing music. The elder one lives nearby with his amazing wife and their fluffy pup Gimli. I currently find myself without the companionship of a feline which feels odd to me. AndiBean, yes it's been flannel jammies weather for the last week here. Lovely but the tomatoes aren't ripening!
Andrea, I believe that Mr Melonhead and Dr Honeydew are related in a similar way to how you and I are related. This is a weird but very good thing.
