In the Vixen/Xanthippe/Virago Tradition
It only takes one, and I'm sure he's out there somewhere. The question, as always, is WHERE? And how does one manage to just "bump into" such a person? Farmer's Market maybe? Any interest in the Plain Green Conference? (plaingreen.org)Dave, maker of Seven Deadly Zins is doing an event in Sioux Falls on October 18th. HE is very married, mind you, but could be fun! We'll certainly chat before then.
Wish I had a nugget of wisdom for you, but I'm ever-more convinced that it happens when it happens and for me it's best to get on with the business of living and doing the things I like to do. Right now that means knitting, banjo and trying to see more live music. But this is me right after reaching my three month tolerance of online dating, so I've ducked out of that method for the moment.
I think you are so right. Things need a nudge sometimes, and sometimes that nudge can be electronic, but it doesn't work for everyone.I'm staying out of trouble doing yard work and clearing out the garage before it's time to park indoors.I've been inspired by you taking up the banjo! My hands are feeling great and I may have to crank up the amp and see if I remember what I was learning on guitar two years ago! I'm just glad that I still have hope. Without desperation.
And Colleen! October 18th is on my calendar! Anything for a glass of 7 Deadly Zins!
