Last December I showed you how Edgar looked in the snow. This is how he looks at midsummer. Yes, he's anatomically correct. He is also a little shy. What the camera angle doesn't hide, the lamiastrum does.

- I was born in Colorado to a full-blooded Norwegian/American mother from North Dakota and a Cajun/Scottish father from Mississippi. Raised and educated in four states, eight public schools, and one liberal arts Lutheran college, I somehow ended up in South Dakota and was married to a mostly Dutch guy for twenty years. I then returned to Colorado for a seven year experiment living at high altitudes. I now call the Pacific Northwest home where I try to blend in with the natives driving my Subaru Outback and sporting hiking boots. I have two sons whom I adore beyond reason. The younger one lives with me and spends an inordinate amount of time on his computer creating video games and composing music. The elder one lives nearby with his amazing wife and their fluffy pup Gimli. I currently find myself without the companionship of a feline which feels odd to me. I have a gargoyle in my classroom and my colleague has several in hers. Two of their names are Victor and Hugo. Mine is just a silly cup that she lent me, but I need a more solid one. He disappeared for a while when boys from a mythology class "borrowed" him. They had put naughty notes in him, too! When he returned, the teacher of that class filled the cup with positive messages, namely about women.
